About the artist, Joy Beckler

“Coming Out” is Joy’s first painting dedicated to opening up and trusting the creative process to express herself through visual art. For inspiration, Joy explores her intuition and her ability to capture mood through texture, tone and color as a means of communication. In this way, she invites each of us to enjoy and relate to her work, perhaps as a gateway to our own private, inner world.

Recently, Joy has expanded her repertoire to include studies in pastel, with subjects ranging from wildlife to musical performances, and her work has been sold internationally.
