Blank pages are filled with words from the backdrop of my mind. The wieght of gravity, breathless beauty filled tragedy, so absurd, cutlass supreme, irrevelency, applied superstition spawned from disbelief.

I got my first camera when I was 7 or 8 years old. But it was after the birth of my first daughter that my camera became part of who I am. I jumped off the fast-paced corporate executive track to stay home with my beautiful daughter. And capturing images of her as she (quickly) grew and changed taught me how to slow down, experience the “now”, and find the beauty in every moment. I continue to learn, (now with two beautiful girls), and the camera continues to guide my discovery of the beauty we can all find around us.

Based in New Mexico, my photography takes advantage of the skies, vistas and light we have here. It is truly a magical place, especially when a good thunderstorm rolls through.

I shoot digital format (currently swinging the Nikon d700), and utilize a variety of lenses (mostly prime). I do perform some sort of digital enhancement on all of my images, though with a light touch. I prefer to shoot in natural light, and my work is reflective of that.

I truly believe that there is beauty to be found in every moment of our lives. We just need to slow down and look for it.
